Ashley Kanzler, DVM, Emergency Medicine

Dr. Ashley Kanzler is the primary owner and a doctor at Bradenton Veterinary Emergency.  She is originally from Morehead, Ky and graduated from Auburn University cum laude (War Eagle!) and has been practicing emergency medicine since she graduated in 2008.  She loves both surgery and medicine cases and enjoys the rush that emergency medicine provides. She lives at home with her husband, Alex, son Joe, and their two dogs, Reese (the Boston Terrier shown) and Haley (a Boxer).  In her spare time she likes to ride her bicycle and take the dogs to the Robinson Preserve.


Jamie Davison, DVM, Emergency Medicine

Dr. Jamie Davison graduated with honors from West Virginia University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She then moved from her hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia to Athens, Georgia for veterinary school. Dr. Davison graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She then completed a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists (now Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners) in Tampa. It was during that time she realized her passion for emergency medicine. The overnight schedule, the fast pace and the variety of challenging cases was just what she was looking for in her career.

Dr. Davison has been practicing emergency medicine full-time since completing her internship. She has worked for a variety of hospitals, including specialty/ referral centers, after-hours emergency clinics, and even doing relief work at low cost spay/neuter clinics. When she is not working, Jamie loves spending time with her husband, two sons and constantly fluctuating menagerie of pets.



Amy Bringardner, DVM, Emergency Medicine

Dr. Bringardner is originally from Dalton, Georgia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 1996 and the Ohio State University where she earned a Masters degree in Animal Science in 2003.  She graduated from the Veterinary School in 2008 where she gained an interest in emergency medicine and toxicology. She shares her home with 2 Labradors and 2 cats. Away from the hospital Dr. Bringardner enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.


Alicia Snell, DVM, Emergency Medicine

Dr. Snell has been involved in veterinary medicine for the past 12 years. She first took a job as a veterinary assistant at Palmetto Animal Clinic and fell in love with the profession. Dr. Snell obtained a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of South Florida. In 2008, she was accepted to Vet School at St. George’s University, and continued her veterinary education at the University of Florida where she graduated in January 2012 with honors. Dr. Snell enjoys the fast pace of emergency medicine and has found her true calling in emergency care. On her free time she likes to read, relax at the beach, and take her 3 dogs (Orion, Gus, and Franklin) on long walks down the Legacy trail.
